The bloody fingerprints of Ice Nine Kills cover THE SILVER
SCREAM CONVENTION, a weekend of macabre celebration for genre
fiends set in the band’s home state of Massachusetts. Curated
by Spencer Charnas, SSC launched in 2022. It quickly outgrew
its original location near Salem, moving into Worcester’s DCU
Center in 2024 —a venue more than twice the size of the first.

The band Kerrang! calls “horrorcore icons” pay homage to the
celluloid classics that first possessed singer Spencer Charnas
as a kid on their No. 1 Billboard Hard Rock albums The Silver
Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood.

At SILVER SCREAM CON, movie lovers, casual fans, and INK’s
beloved “psychos” chop it up with the stars of legendary
horror franchises, including meet-and-greets, unique photo-
ops, cosplay, trivia, an INK concert, and immersive
experiences. 

“The Silver Scream Con brings horror fanatics and INK fans
from all over the world together to celebrate their love of
on-screen slaughter,” notes Spencer. “This is the chance for
our loyal Psychos to not only interact with the band, but to
meet the stars of the very films that our music pays tribute
to.”

Silver Scream Con guests have included the stars and creative
teams of celebrated franchises Scream, Halloween, Terrifier,

Friday the 13 th , The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Child’s Play,
Candyman, and Silent Night, Deadly Night, to name just a few.

Charnas grew up attending horror conventions himself as a fan
and now regularly appears at several of them worldwide. He
applies that passion and expertise to Silver Scream Con,
working closely with experienced, top-tier convention
organizers.

This December, the Silver Scream Con brings it's brand of horror across the pond for a new weekend of unholy TERROR! The weekend THEY came back… Ice Nine
Kills Presents The Silver Scream Con London, and will be strangling our new home at The Cumberland Hotel London 13 and 14 December! Bigger and bloodier in 2025.
